Personal paperwork and
communication with your Regional Staffing
Director in the NCA office.

Learning and perfecting all
camp material from the provided DVD before
attending Staff Meeting for your
region.

Attending your Regional Staff
Meeting for training on teaching skills,
performance skills, NCA technique, and NCA
policies.
-
Commitment to the NCA camp
schedule you are assigned (based on the
availability you provide) and flexibility to
change or add camps as enrollments grow and
change throughout the summer.
-
Organizing travel arrangements
to and from the assigned camps
-
Displaying exemplary teaching
and motivational skills to not only the camp
participants and coaches, but also your fellow
NCA staff members and Head
Instructors.

Being prepared for every class,
and teaching or demoing camp material at a
professional level

Exemplifying the qualities of a
true Role Model to camp participants of all
ages

Ongoing improvement of
technical, teaching, and motivational
skills

Completion of final camp
paperwork

Yearly communication with your
Regional Staffing Director for possible
scheduling of Fall and Spring camps,
competitions, and judging opportunities
NCA TRYOUT VIDEO TIPS: Please
note that you must turn 18 years of age by May 2010 in
order to apply for Staff this summer. If you do not
meet this requirement, please keep this application in
order to apply next year.
Get
Tips

Start early
– it can be stressful to put together a
quality DVD at the last minute

Think of
your DVD/video as a job interview – Let us
get to know YOU
-
Review your
video before sending it in to be sure you have all
requirements
-
Please do
not wear warm-ups, t-shirts, wraps, or any other
over-sized clothing
-
Only include
the best of your abilities in each segment of the
video
-
Be sure to
look your best in everyway: hair, make-up,
etc.

Technique is
the key – there is no substitute for solid,
well-rounded technique
-
Send your
DVD in an appropriate package (DVD’s are
easily broken in the mail.)

Please be
aware the deadline for your application is December
1, 2009

Showmanship,
personality and speaking skills throughout the
video can really set your video application apart
from the rest!

We are looking for hardworking individuals with
superior technique in jumps, tumbling, and stunts who
are strong role models for children of all ages.
Requirements:

Must be at least a senior in
high school.
